When I was still single, I’m not really into eating pizza. It does not appeal to me. I’d rather eat a plate of rice and viand than have a slice of pizza. But that all changed when I met and got married to the ultimate pizza-lover boy in town, my husband.
So for many years now, “pizza date” is a must in our family. We are always on the look-out of new pizza parlors in town. We are glad that there is now Tia Nina Bistro in Gensan and it is conveniently located in downtown area. What I liked about Tia Nina Bistro is that it’s not all about pizza…it offers a variety of food that you can choose from. They have pasta, rice meals, steaks, chicken meals, breads, soup, panini, pancakes, waffle and a whole lot more. If you ask about the price, I’ll tell you it’s affordable. And here’s the big bonus for those who always want to be online and connect with their friends on the internet world, Tia Nina Bistro offers free wifi to its customers.
Here are some pictures I took during our chikahan and chibugan in Tia Nina Bistro:

When I first learned that SM, the country’s premier mall, is opening here in Gensan, I was ecstatic. Well, I guess almost everyone living here in the tuna capital of the Philippines (including the neighboring areas) shared the same excitement that I felt. Everybody knows that SM, which is the country’s leader in the retail industry, offers only the best products and quality services at very reasonable prices.
Today (August 10, 2012) marks a very important event in the city of General Santos as SM City Gensan opens to the public. Of course, I won’t forgive myself (wink) if I will not be part of this historical event. Hubby and I were among the thousands who flocked in the mall this morning as SM City Gensan opened its doors to excited shoppers. Here are some photos I took while inside the mall.
I love the design of SM City Gensan
Excited shoppers everywhere
First 100 customers in Greenwich get 1 year free pizza (syempre maaga kaming pumila)
People here, there and everywhere
Hubby and I were privileged to be invited (as bloggers) to attend the blessing of the mall a day before the grand opening. We were first toured inside the supermarket area.
